Wonton soup: surprisingly not bad. Light broth was exemplified by the wing soy sauce. Came with a side of
something crunchy but no taste associated to it. The skins are really thick and the meat is really dry and I
donβt think they actually seasoned it. Itβs like the chicken nugget colour and texture except pre cooked and
itβs not even plentiful. But there is a charm to this and the charm is in the broth - I am reminded of home,
of 12 am meals alone in my dorm craving any form of Chinese food
Egg rolls: like a pizza pocket but full of what is supposed to be spring roll filling. Why is it breaded?
Fusion to its mac but there cabbage, pork, and st least itβs somewhat not lean meat. The skin is so thick
and came out lukewarm. The plum sauce is so terrible. Iβm wondering how someone even folds a spring roll to
become this shape. I ate a giant chunk of salt in one of my bites
Chop suey; I had no idea what CS was before this meal and I can now say itβs just bean sprouts and nothing
else. The meat is unseasoned dry chicken breast chunks and I think thatβs beautiful. The bean sprouts
themselves are slightly salty and just taste like theyβve been in a wisp of a wok
Rice: I donβt know how they can make rice this brown and still have it taste like plain white rice. That is
a spectacular feat - I think I would physically have to try to not put enough soy sauce and still season it
better. The rice is dry and crumbly on the outside and too moist on the inside. How is that possible? Jimmy
has done it yet again
Ribs: yβall these are straight up white people ribs LOL. It is so dry. The outside somehow reminds me of
charsiu if it was in Texas. Itβs almost jammy? The meat falls off the bone but itβs so tough. How do you
even do this???) dry age ribs!!!!!??? Just steam them??
